During the 2022 Pennsylvania School Bus Association (PSBA) Annual Membership Meeting, the PSBA Members elected Mr. Shawn McGlinchey (Krapf School Bus) as their next President. Shawn McGlinchey is currently the Vice President of Risk Management for the Krapf Group. In his current position he oversees the safety & risk management activities for all entities of the Krapf Group. Previously to joining the Krapf organization, Shawn worked for Harleysville Insurance for 23 years as part of the Risk Control team specializing in fleet and school bus safety programs.
A United States Coast Guard veteran, Shawn served at Joint Forces Intelligence Command staff as part of our Nation’s response to 9/11 and in other strategic roles throughout his Coast Guard career, including the planning & deployment of Coast Guard’s resources in response to Hurricane Katrina. For his unit’s effort and his leadership during Katrina, was awarded the Presidential Unit Citation from President George W. Bush.
Shawn resides in Boyertown, Pennsylvania with his wife Jill of 37 years which they are active in their community and local church where Shawn serves on the Ministry Council. They have two adult daughters, Kate & Megan who both reside in Philadelphia with their husbands.
During the three-day conference, the group also recognized outgoing President, Mrs. Denille Girardat-Myers (Girardat, LP) for her service and leadership for the 2020-2022 term. The group also confirmed the 2022-2024 slate of Officers.
