The Pennsylvania School Bus Association (PSBA) was established in 1980 with a commitment to advocating for excellence in student transportation. Today, the association is comprised of over 250 school transportation contractors and industry partners who have united to serve as a powerful voice for school transportation safety and the school transportation contracting industry. Through collaboration, advocacy, and education, PSBA continuously strives to enhance the safety, efficiency, and reliability of school transportation across Pennsylvania.

Our mission is to develop and provide programs, resources, and training that promote the highest standards of safety in student transportation. We are dedicated to fostering a culture of professionalism, ethical leadership, and continuous improvement in school transportation services. By supporting contractors and industry professionals with educational opportunities and best practices, we aim to strengthen the overall quality of student transportation and ensure that children travel to and from school in the safest possible manner.

PSBA actively collaborates with numerous Pennsylvania organizations, school districts, and government agencies to advance its mission and accomplish the goals of its membership. Through advocacy efforts, we work to shape policies and regulations that benefit the student transportation industry while prioritizing the safety and well-being of students.

We firmly believe that earning and maintaining the trust and confidence of students, parents, school administrators, and the broader community is essential to our success. By upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct and professionalism, PSBA members are committed to ensuring that every child’s journey to school is secure, efficient, and reliable. Our dedication to safety, integrity, and industry excellence remains at the core of everything we do.
