The PSBA works every day to lower costs for contractors
Through our dedicated advocacy efforts, the PSBA has successfully protected contractors from significant financial burdens, including the elimination of the sales tax on school buses and parts and the excise tax on fuel—both of which would have been incredibly costly for businesses in the industry.
As government agencies continuously explore new ways to generate revenue, they often propose measures that would place additional financial strain on private contractors. However, the PSBA works tirelessly to push back against these efforts, ensuring that the burden of these expenses is not unfairly placed on the shoulders of hardworking contractors.
By standing together, PSBA members benefit from ongoing advocacy aimed at lowering operational costs and preserving the financial stability of school transportation businesses.
When you join the PSBA, you’re not just becoming a member—you’re securing a stronger, more cost-effective future for your business and the entire industry.
