The U.S. Department of Education's Office of Safe and Drug-Free Schools has developed comprehensive training modules designed specifically to assist pupil transportation professionals in effectively identifying, addressing, and preventing bullying on school buses. These training resources aim to equip drivers, school officials, and transportation staff with the knowledge and strategies necessary to create a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all students during their daily commutes. By implementing these best practices, transportation professionals can play a crucial role in reducing bullying incidents and fostering a positive experience for young passengers. Below, you will find links to a variety of materials from this valuable program, including instructional guides, training videos, and additional resources to support school bus personnel in handling bullying situations proactively and effectively.
